PRETTY LIGHTS RELEASES “WE MUST GO ON”

Derek Vincent Smith (aka Pretty Lights) has just released a new classic sounding PL track titled “We Must Go On”, along with a self-made music video.
The track is a soulful hip-hop jam, laced with a vocal hook that is uplifting, reflective, optimistic, and hauntingly beautiful all at the same time.
The video expresses and channels emotions in a beautiful collage of shots that capture little moments in people’s lives, from the joyous, to the innocent, to the desperate. It does so with an editing style based on quickly cut shots, and extremely precise synchronicity with the music. Derek collaborated with Krystle Blackburn (PLM’s Creative Director) to create this new style of music video.

NEW VIDEO FROM MILK FAMOUS OUT MARCH 6

White Rabbits have released the beautiful and unsettling video for “Heavy Metal,” the recently unveiled opening track from the band’s upcoming third album, Milk Famous. Directed by Andrew Droz Palermo, the “Heavy Metal” video can be viewed below.
The “Heavy Metal” clip is a marked departure from Palermo’s previous work with White Rabbits, the performance-centric “Percussion Gun” video. “Heavy Metal” instead creates a surreal otherworld where three anonymous characters echo the song’s hypnotic loops with oddly mesmerizing minimalist body language.
Preceded by first single “Temporary,” Milk Famous will be released March 6 on the tbd label (with a vinyl release March 13 on White Iris) and can be pre-ordered here.

SET FOR RELEASE JANUARY 31, 2012 ON PRETTY LIGHTS MUSIC
The Brooklyn based electronic duo, Break Science are kicking off 2012 with the release of their second EP entitled Monolith Code (Pretty Lights Music). As seasoned producers and touring veterans, Adam Deitch and Borahm Lee have produced and performed with everyone from The Fugees, Wu-Tang Clan, and Talib Kweli, to reggae Lee “Scratch” Perry and Miles Davis collaborator, John Scofield.
