FIRST HEADLINERS CONFIRMED FOR;
ON-SITE CAMPING AVAILABLE FOR FIRST TIME
Green Day will headline The Voodoo Music and Arts Experience. Fellow headliners Neil Young & Crazy Horse also lead the 2012 Voodoo line-up which once again features artists from a variety of musical genres, while also reflecting the cultural gumbo that defines this historic and beloved American city.
Celebrated as one of America’s most eclectic festivals and the final musical event of the annual U.S. music festival season, this year’s Voodoo–Friday, October 26, Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28–will mark its 14th consecutive year.
Excitingly, new to this year’s annual musical celebration is on-site camping. A longtime tradition at the most renowned music festivals around the world, this is the first time it will be offered to Voodoo attendees. Camping options range from general tent camping with basic amenities to a luxurious all-encompassing camping experience. SUMMER TOUR DATES IN SUPPORT OF NEW ALBUM WIXIW

Experimental New York trio Liars have unveiled a batch of summer North American tour dates in support of their forthcoming album WIXIW out June 5 via Mute Records. The tour will start on July 5 at The Fillmore in San Francisco and wrap up on July 28 at A&R Music Bar in Columbus, OH. In between, the band will play Seattle, Denver, Minneapolis, Toronto, Boston and more. Check out the full itinerary below.

SECOND ANNUAL HANGTOWN HALLOWEEN BALL
Early bird tickets and VIP packages are now on sale for the 2nd annual Railroad Earth‘s Hangtown Halloween Ball, October 26 28, 2012. Together with Pet Projekt Presents and their new partners at High Sierra Music, they will return to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville, CA for yet another amazing harvest celebration under the full Halloween moon. The only fall festival of its kind, the Hangtown Halloween Ball features lush accommodations and an intimate setting for unadulterated live music.
Set to take place at the gateway of the picturesque Sierra mountains, Railroad Earth’s Hangtown Halloween Ball features something for everyone: spectacular mountain vistas, a vast open air main stage, the family friendly festival ambiance that the team at High Sierra Music Festival is distinguished for, and, of course, a stellar line-up of marquee musical artists.
