    Hellbound Glory :: 01.06.12 :: Jambalaya :: Arcata, CA

    Reno, NV-based Hellbound Glory is doing their part to keep country tough n real, honoring stated influences like Bocephus and the Jennings (Waylon and Shooter) while mixing in the energy of primo ass-kickers like Drive-By Truckers and Kid Rock. One spin of their fab new album, Damaged Goods (released November 22, 2011 on Rusty Knuckles) and youre ready to punch a bouncer and raise some h-e-double toothpicks. The band carries this tusslin energy into their live shows, making them a standout in the insurgent XXX country rock movement. Heres a peek of a recent California show last month (and a great live-off-the-floor Hank Jr. cover below gallery), and folks in Ohio, New York and Texas can catch the band in person starting in mid-February (dates here).
