NEW TRACK “BAD GIRLS” AVAILABLE ON ITUNES

Today M.I.A.‘s video for her brand new track, “Bad Girls,” premieres exclusively on Noisey — Vice’s new music channel on YouTube.
The video was shot in Ouarzazate, Morocco, and is directed by Romain Gavras (M.I.A. “Born Free” and JUSTICE “Stress”).

“It was dope to have so many people from so many different backgrounds speaking so many different languages come together to create something that we believed in,” says M.I.A about the video. “I thought I was gonna die on the shoot when I saw the drifting. It was a four day shoot so everyone was on edge the whole time specifically ME when I had to do bluesteel singing to the camera while the cars did doughnuts on the wet road ten feet away. In my mind I was thinking how I was gonna deliver the video to Vice with no legs.”
The track “Bad Girls” was released via all major digital retail outlets January 31.

Feist has rolled out Spring dates to promote the release of her latest album Metals. She’ll start with appearances at Coachella and NOLA Jazz Fest in April before hitting spots in the South and Northeast in the first half of May. Singer, songwriter, and guitarist extraordinaire Gary Clark Jr. has confirmed a handful of tour dates leading up to SXSW 2012 in Austin, Texas this March. He’ll also perform at Coachella and NOLA Jazz Fest in April.
Clark has enjoyed an incredibly successful year of touring the U.S, Europe and the U.K. performing everywhere from sold-out clubs to summer festivals and massive stadiums with Eric Clapton and back. Coupled with TV appearances on Letterman and Fallon, high-profile benefit shows with Alicia Keys and The Roots plus tremendous critical praise has set the tone for the year.
With an ever-widening fan base snapping up copies of his acclaimed The Bright Lights EP and radio play of the title track, fans the world over are awaiting the release of his WB debut album later this year.
