NICKI BLUHM AND THE GRAMBLERS BREAKING OUT THIS SPRING


Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers

Fresh off the success of the latest “Van Sessions” cover of Hall & Oates “I Can’t Go For That” with 1.1 million views on YouTube and growing and a sold out show at LA’s famed Hotel Caf, Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers are set to hit the road and spend the rest of the year on a North American Tour. The band will headline a month long residency at Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco this June and participate in a bevy of festivals including Grace Potter’s Grand Point North in Vermont, The Festy in Virginia and Jam Cruise 11.

The band just released the latest “Van Session” video, which finds them covering The Commodores‘ “Easy”. Check it out below the tour dates.

    THE LUMINEERS ANNOUNCE NEW SUMMER SHOWS


    The Lumineers

    Denver-based band The Lumineers plays live tonight on TBS’ Conan. The band will be performing their popular single “Ho Hey” from their recently released self-titled debut album. The performance is the band’s second late-night television appearance following an appearance on The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson.

    The group will join Brandi Carlile and Old Crow Medicine Show on upcoming dates (see below). The band recently did a special feature with Grammy.com, including a performance of the song “Classy Girls.” You can watch the video interview and performance here.

    FOR “OLD IDEAS WORLD TOUR 2012″

    Legendary singer/songwriter/poet Leonard Cohen has announced a North American tour, beginning October 31 in Austin, TX. This leg of Cohen’s “Old Ideas World Tour 2012″ follows on the heels of his previously announced European concert dates. The tour celebrates Cohen’s highly acclaimed twelfth studio album, Old Ideas.
