Mike Gordon: New Comp for Vermont Flood Recovery

STEAMROLLER WHEELES AVAILABLE NOW AT
LIVEPHISH.COM AND PHISH DRY GOODS

Mike Gordon has announced the release of Steamroller Wheelies: A Restoration Convoy, a compilation of collaborations between the Phish bassist and a smattering of fellow musicians; all of whom wanted to contribute to Vermont flood recovery.

The tracks were collected and compiled by Mike from various projects he’s either developed or participated in over the years, beginning in 1999. All proceeds from Steamroller Wheelies will be directed towards recovery efforts, to help restore Vermont after the devastating effects of Hurricane Irene in 2011.

Steamroller Wheelies is available to purchase at LivePhish.com and on CD at Phish Dry Goods. The CD version is limited to one printing.

Musicians who participated include Phish bandmates Page McConnell and Jon Fishman, Marco Benevento, Joe Russo, Chris Thile, Little Feat, Danny Barnes, Russell Batiste, Fonzworth Bentley, Scott Murawski, Oteil Burbridge and others.

Ben & Jerry’s and the WaterWheel Foundation Host World’s Largest Cowbell Ensemble

On Saturday, April 14th, Ben & Jerry’s and the WaterWheel Foundation will host a gathering on Church Street in downtown Burlington, Vermont in an effort to form the World’s Largest Cowbell Ensemble. Jon Fishman, drummer for the band Phish, will lead the effort. The two organizations are celebrating their 15 year partnership, and the anniversary of Ben & Jerry’s Phish Food.
