TO PLAY FOR SEVA FOUNDATION ON MAY 20
Bay Area cultural icon Wavy Gravy will host a benefit concert on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Rio Theatre in Santa Cruz. The show will feature Steve Earle, John Trudell, Peter Rowan, and more performing in support of Seva Foundation‘s Native American Community Health Program.
Tickets to the benefit are $45 for general admission. A limited amount of VIP tickets are available for $150. These include a limited edition event poster signed by the artists, access to the preshow reception and a reserved seat. Tickets are available at In Ticketing or by phone at (866) 558-4253.

The Devil Makes Three‘s seemingly never ending tour crosses the country on new dates with Flogging Molly and Gogol Bordello while they continue to bring their live power to Festivals and headlining dates. The Devil Makes Three’s true power is best experienced live and their latest release Stomp and Smash is a live LP recorded over a two night, sold out stand at the Mystic Theater in Petaluma by Kark Derfler, best known for his work with Tom Waits.

The Afghan Whigs are pleased to announce they will be performing at Terminal 5 in New York City on October 5 with special guests Eagles of Death Metal.
Tickets for this show will go on sale this Friday (April 27) at Noon and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com or www.bowerypresents.com.
The Afghan Whigs (who have reunited after a 13 year hiatus) have announced 23 worldwide shows to date for 2012 including performances at Lollapalooza, ATP’s I’ll Be Your Mirror (London & NJ), Primavera Sound (Barcelona & Portugal) among numerous others. The New York City show is the first non-festival appearance going on sale in North America.
Formed in 1986, the bands career from then until 2001 saw them release six critically acclaimed albums during their career. Fusing classic rock with grunge-era distortion and a heavy soul influence, The Afghan Whigs were one of the most renowned live bands of their time.
