SOLD-OUT MUSIC FEST AIRS LIVE FROM
GULF SHORES, ALABAMA MAY 18-20 ONLY ON MYSPACE
Tens of thousands of music lovers are set to arrive on the beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama when the Hangout Music Fest kicks-off to a sold-out crowd this weekend. Fans not lucky enough to score tickets will still be able to watch the show on Myspace and catch performances by artists such as Jack White, String Cheese Incident, Dispatch, Umphrey’s McGee, G. Love & Special Sauce, Paul Oakenfold, Gogol Bordello, Dr. Dog, Flogging Molly, Yelawolf, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, Alabama Shakes, and more, on May 18-20.
“When tickets sold out so quickly, we knew we had to do something to share the festival to a wider audience. Thanks to Myspace, music fans that can’t make it to our party in person can still join in the fun,” said Hangout Music Fest founder and owner, Shaul Zislin. “Enjoy the broadcast and we’ll see you here next year!”
As the exclusive distribution partner, Myspace will broadcast select performances live and on-demand, beginning Friday, May 18 through Sunday, May 20 at www.myspace.com/hangoutmusicfest. COACHELLA SETS 2013 DATES
Coachella 2013 will again be held over two consecutive weekends. Weekend one will take place April 12-14, 2013 and weekend two will go down April 19-21, 2013. Advance passes go on sale beginning this Thursday, May 17, 2012 10:00 am PDT through the following Thursday, May 24, 2012 10:00 pm PDT. The general on sale will happen early next year. The Black Keys have announced several new dates out West for this October. The latest batch of shows includes stops throughout California, and in Arizona and New Mexico. Tegan & Sara will provide support on the tour. See below for all of the newly announced dates. Concert tickets and album packages are available at the band’s site.
The Black Keys are teaming up with Tickets-for-Charity to offer fans access to some of the best seats in the house. Proceeds will benefit Community Support Services in Akron, OH and W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville, TN. Additionally, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band’s first album The Big Come Up, iTunes will make the record available for $5.99 for one week beginning May 15.
