STARTING HALLOWEEN NIGHT AT IRVING PLAZA IN NYC

After a long hiatus, The Dresden
Dolls are thrilled to announce their first live tour in 3 years. The duo comprised of Amanda
Palmer (piano, vocals) and Brian Viglione (drums, guitar, bass) will be kicking off a few weeks of
dates starting on Halloween at Irving Plaza in NYC. The date marks the exact 10th anniversary of the birth of the

BAD LUCK STREAK WITH BASSISTS CONTINUES WITH LATEST DEPARTURE


Jane’s Addiction

Five months after joining the band, bassist Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses, Velvet Revolver, Loaded) has left Jane’s Addiction. A statement from
the band reads:

“Hey we wanted to thank Duff for helping us write songs for our new record. We love the songs we worked on
with him – and the gigs were a blast – but musically we were all headed in different directions. From here Duff is off
to work on his own stuff so we wish him all the best.

On his twitter account, frontman Perry Farrell
said:

“Jane’s wishes Duff much luck with his band Loaded. What a fun time we all had working together. Look out for
his record and tour this fall.”

McKagan had originally joined the band after the departure of original bassist Eric Avery in March. Avery
had rejoined the band after a seventeen year absence. The band have not yet announced a replacement bassist.

Fistful of Mercy is
Joseph Arthur, Ben Harper and Dhani Harrison. Their debut album As I Call You
Down will be available October 5 on Hot Records. Pre-orders for the cd and vinyl are currently available at

orders will come with a signed poster from the band. Vinyl will be available in stores a week early, starting
September 28.
